I wrote a check for a purchase at one of
Certegy's clients. The register would not "read" my check, so the sales associate entered the numbers on the keypad. He then had to enter the numbers from my driver's license. He made a
mistake entering the numbers from either the check or the ID, or both, so
Certegy rejected my check. The register/
Certegy would not allow him to enter the correct information, so I could not pay by check.
Then when I went to ANOTHER store in the same mall that is ALSO a client of
Certegy, my check was rejected there, as well. I had to pay ATM fees to use an ATM in the mall to get cash to pay for my purchases.
